Code Rescue 0.7.0 – Basics in the Briefing Room

Never written code before? No problem: in the briefing room, REPL now explains the basics before things really get going.

Six stations

Variables, lists, conditions, loops, functions and error messages – each station is short, spoken and illustrated, with a small task at the end.

If you already know all this, just skip the stations. You can repeat them at any time later – with REPL (key G) or in the handbook.

The new "REPL hints" setting lets you decide how often REPL gives you tips: off, rare, normal or often.
