Code Rescue 0.17.0 – Diving in at the harbour

Your mission now starts in a diving capsule moored at the island harbour. The briefing room has been refitted – with screens on the walls, consoles, lights and windows through which you can see the harbour. The only way out is through the airlock, and you control it yourself: first you close the inner door, then you tell the pump how far to count the pressure up, and finally you open the outer door – each step a small line of code at the console. If you get stuck, REPL asks whether it should fill the gap for you. Then the gangway extends, you walk across the pier to the shore, and behind you the capsule dives. There are lots of new sounds as well – hissing valves, a thumping pump, seagulls over the harbour, footsteps on metal and wood – and, for everyone who prefers to read, the "Sound captions" option. The ferry now casts off towards the open sea, and if you fall off the pier into the water, you are safely back on top straight away.
